Vlad is a Registered Clinical Counsellor practicing in Salmon Arm, BC. He is passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and work toward meaningful personal goals. He provides support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, cultural diversity, stress management, and men’s issues, and offers guidance throughout the journey of healing and personal growth.
He holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and has over twelve years of experience in the helping profession in a variety of roles. He has been in private practice since 2018 and offers individual counselling for adults. His approach is client-centered, meaning interventions are tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences. He integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and other therapeutic modalities to support well-being and resilience.
He believes counselling is a collaborative process grounded in trust, respect, and compassion. He strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can openly share their thoughts and feelings. Counselling is viewed as an opportunity for learning and growth—one that allows clients to gain new perspectives, develop practical skills, and discover effective solutions.
